Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-02-28
1. Scope
These Terms govern your access to and use of DoorDrop services, including our website and legal pages (the "Site") and the DoorDrop web app (together, the "Services"). The DoorDrop application is available at app.doordrop.space. If additional terms are presented in the app for specific features, those terms apply to that feature.
2. Acceptance
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
3. Definitions
In these Terms:
- "Business" means a user who creates or manages a letterbox delivery campaign.
- "Walker" means a user who accepts and performs delivery work via the Services.
- "Content" includes campaign materials, uploaded files, text, images, and any delivery proof (including photos) submitted through the Services.
4. Service description
DoorDrop is a marketplace platform that connects businesses needing letterbox delivery with independent walkers who perform the deliveries. DoorDrop facilitates the connection but does not employ the walkers. Walkers are independent contractors responsible for their own tax obligations, insurance, and compliance with applicable laws.
5. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly notify us of any unauthorised access to your account. If you are using the Services as a Business or Walker, you represent that you have the authority to do so and will comply with any eligibility requirements presented in the app.
6. Business responsibilities
Businesses are responsible for the legality and suitability of campaign materials and for ensuring campaign instructions are accurate. You must not use the Services to distribute prohibited, misleading, or unlawful materials. You are responsible for complying with any applicable advertising, consumer, and distribution laws and for respecting local restrictions and signage.
7. Walker responsibilities
Walkers are responsible for completing deliveries as agreed, providing accurate delivery status and location data (where enabled), and complying with applicable laws and safety requirements. You must follow reasonable campaign instructions and respect property signage (for example, "No Junk Mail" or similar notices) where applicable.
8. Fees, payments, and refunds
The Services may include fees (for example platform fees) and may use third-party payment processors. Fees, payout timing, and any refund rules will be shown in the app at the time you create a campaign or accept work. Unless required by law, fees may be non-refundable once work has started.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes.
- Falsify delivery data or GPS tracking information.
- Attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse engineer the Site or the app.
- Deliver illegal, offensive, or prohibited materials through the platform.
10. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of Content you submit, but you grant DoorDrop a licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that Content as needed to operate the Services (including showing delivery proof to the relevant Business and Walker). The Site design, text, logos, and platform software are owned by their respective owners and are protected by intellectual property laws.
11. Third-party services
The Site may link to third-party websites and services (including mapping providers, social platforms, fonts, and CDNs). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.
12. Disclaimers
The Site and platform are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee delivery outcomes, walker availability, or campaign results. Delivery quality depends on factors outside our control.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoorDrop and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Site or platform.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (or similar consumer protection laws) that cannot be excluded.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk to other users, or used the Services in an abusive or unlawful way. You may stop using the Services at any time.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
